Brown Bear, Brown Bear

I am happy to hear that everyone did a GREAT job for the substitute teacher today!  Way to go, 4K students!  They did such a great job that she gave out some special BEAK tickets that count as 2 tickets!  Many are excited because tomorrow is Eagle's Nest and they can exchange their BEAK tickets for something special!

Due to there being a substitute teacher in the classroom, there are not any pictures from today.  Sorry!

Today they read the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?.  They also learned how to sing the story to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star."  Click below to listen to the story at home!

Each child got to visit their last center today - playing the bear hunt letter game, playing a bear board game, or making bear Bb's for our alphabet books.

Afterwards, the children played in the classroom to work on developing important social and language skills.

After snack, the children played a brown bear color memory game.  They also read a book called Time to Sleep that helped review other animals besides bears that also hibernate in winter.

They also got to teach the substitute teacher how to do the bear hunt song!

Then it was time to play outside before going home!  Tomorrow is our teddy bear day!  The children are VERY excited for it!  I can't wait to meet everyone's teddy bear friends tomorrow!

Have a fantastic evening!
