The children enjoyed seeing many of the animals throughout the zoo in the morning. If you have any pictures you would like to share, send them to me at kmccabe@southerndoor.k12.wi.us and I will add them to the blog!
We gathered together for a class picture.
Then we walked to the park for lunch and to play on the playground.
It was a fun, exciting day, but also very tiring! The bus trip back to school was very quiet! :)
When we got back to school, they just wanted to rest on the carpet!
We had a little time to spare before going home so we talked about our favorite animals at the zoo and read a short story called If Anything Ever Goes Wrong at the Zoo.
Afternoon Session Families - Please have your child wear old clothing and shoes to school tomorrow. They will be spending some time planting in the school garden. Thank you!
