We decided to read some bell stories since our elf seems to like bells a lot! Our first story was about a lady who swallowed a bell! We enjoyed listening for all the rhyming words in the story! Miss McCabe also had everyone guess what the old lady was going to swallow next by giving some clues, such as the letter it started with. We did a great job listening to the clues to help us figure out what she would swallow next!
Then we read Jingle Bells. In this story, we learned about how the holidays are celebrated in other parts of the world. Some time was spent discussing that people all over celebrate the holidays in different ways. We talked about how each of our families may celebrate a little differently too!
We made our letter Ww alphabet book page - wintery, white Ww. It was tricky work to pull apart cottonballs to glue on our papers!
We also worked on some top-secret projects!
Miss McCabe gave everyone a long playtime today as a reward for all of our hard work with the holiday program!
We ate a delicious snack! The children have been so excited about patterning that they have been enjoying creating patterns with their snack! Some children have even moved onto more complicated patterns!
After snack, we enjoyed looking at some books!
We also shared some more snowman projects.
Then we went to the Eagle's Nest and played outside!
